Mana is a way for you to se ethe "credibility" of another member.
Everyone has that little bar that shows how much manna you have. It is based on how many people have clicked the button to give you mana.
How much mana or bars it gives you deoopeends on teh credibility of teh person giving you mana and how much they have given out all together. If they dont give out much mana theirs counts for more. If they are active their mana counts for more.
Gove mana to people that make good contributions and we'll all see it start to work  .

Chris, is it Mana or Manna? Have seen you use it both ways.
Manna, the miraculous Biblical bread of life, is sometimes used as a label for things received unexpectedly. The word comes from manan which translates as allotment or gift
Mana, of course, is defined as power or authority. The supernatural force that dwells within a person.
Either way it is an interesting concept and I look forward to seeing it play out.

Just out of curiosity. Does the Mana tab show who gave you Mana? I haven't received any yet so I don't know.

I couldn't help but sit back and almost laugh. The conversation about MANA between you guys has been kind of funny. Don't worry, that is a good thing. If a person can't cut up at least a little bit, what's the world coming to?
Your term "MANA" makes me think of what the children of Israel had to eat in the wilderness. Gotta go! I think I want to go eat some bamana bread!

You know what's really funny? Your post made me go back and read the thread again and I noticed that for the last 9 months I've had Tom Hanks name in that "You've got Mana" post as Tom Kelly I can't believe nobody said anything LOL

Mana is a powerful networking and "attraction" tool if used appropriately. Unfortunately it appears most members aren't "sharing" mana. Not sure why. But I'd guess it's because they don't know about it...or don't understand it.

Yeah Just joined this thread and I did notice you mentioned about tom hanks. I liked this actor a lot and you know what I went to this restaurant titled "BubbaGump" the other day when I was in the Phillipines! totally great place to snack on some shrimps! Nice environment and best of all they got this sign to call the waiter when you flip the word that says either "Run Forest Run!" OR "Stop Forest Stop"!
You've got EVEN more mana!
