| Pingoat is a very good site for pinging. I use onlywire as well in bookmarking. It's a great tool and the best thing it's free..

I agree.... these are great strats....
Using digg.com ALWAYS gets me on the first or 2nd page of google.
In fact, I did a training video here:

Another tip would be to use http://www.ping.fm which allows you to blast your updates/blogs to all the social network site at one time...I LOVE IT!

Thanx for the valuable content Michael. I was always very skeptical about starting a blog. However, I'm learning now that it's not hard at all. I actually am really starting to enjoy it.

You can give your blog an extra boost by combining it
with the leveraging power of facebook.
In you Facebook profile, start using the application "notes".
Facebook Notes allows you to post micro blog notes or
"mini-articles" that appear on your facebook newsfeed
(which also show up in all your friend's newsfeeds).
And make micro posts that link to your blog article for
a full read on whatever the topic is that you're posting about.
So now you can use the free reach and speed of facebook
to build a free but super targeted list...

To add to Michael's excellent suggestions of submitting to Digg etc, here's an easy way to make sure you're submitting something newsworthy to the social bookmarking sites.
This assumes your blog post is newsworthy of course:-) Take a snippet (a sentence or two depending on how long the sentence is), and put your keyword at the beginning of the first sentence (if it makes sense), then change a couple of "bigger" words in the snippet.
Then, you have an easy way of writing a good description for your bookmarking.

Branding your blog is important. Each major blog platform has the ability to customize parts of the template. Uploading a branded header image helps the reader remember the company logo. That's great advice there about the keywords and blogging hints.. The call to action is one i guess i need to work on. That is good advice.
The best thing i came across yet has some good call to actions i could use on my blog. I think I will try putting their forms and such on the end of every article i write now on.
Thank you so much for your advice. I will definitely try it and see if the outcome is better. I think this income at home opportunity is so good it should not hurt putting it at the end of everything i write. I will try posting something to reference it on each page. Hopefully this will help.

Freedom fire thanks for this thread. I use to ping with pingomatic only but after I started pinging with pingoat first per advice in this thread, my blog pages were getting indexed faster, that is the good news. The bad news however, pingoat seems to be suspended I can’t log in to the site for couple of days now, is it gone?
