One good marketing method regarding blogs is to post comments on other people's blogs. The post should be something related to the subject of the blog and the subject of the post should be something that will interest people.
It is a good idea to post to blogs whose topics are related to the topics of you blogs. If you are interested in branding your name on the internet, leave you name.
"Branding" is a term that means, when someone googles your name, all of the internet articles, blogs, postings, etc that you have done on the internet will come up on the first pages of google.
Try to post a comment on other people's blogs about 3 or more times a week. I will try to post to at least 10 different blogs, 3 times a week or more. The best blogs to post to are the ones that are on the first pages of the Google search engine.

Yes, I agree that commenting is good. Some people say that most blogs have nofollow enabled, so it's not worth it. I disagree because, as you say, you can use it as a branding exercise.
Also, if you comment on very popular blogs, you will get some clicks coming through to your site. I commented on the popular Problogger site many months ago now, and I still see that as a referrer in my stats. Must have racked up perhaps a hundred clicks just from that one comment!
Also, you can rewrite your comments and use them as blog posts or articles, too! So commenting is definitely not a waste of time or energy.

Just remember, as Lawren says, to post something related to the blog/blog article you're posting in response to. Keep it relevant and pertinent.
There's a number of folks who post nonsense, non-related, blatantly promotional, or "nice article" type replies with little meat or merit. Then include their url for the back link. THAT is spam. I don't approve those for posting to my blogs (I have comment moderation capability). Since my blogs are all top 5 in Google I get a lot of this junk. It's very annoying.
God Bless,
Michael

Yes, I am still fairly new to network marketing and I am finding that I am discovering many new things all the time. Placing comments on other people's blogs was something I had heard about, but never pursued, for whatever reason. But, once someone explained to me that this is a way to brand your name, then, for me, it kind of clicked.
I have started trying to post to 10 different blogs a day, and yes, I usually comment something of value on someone's blog. You know the saying "treat people as you would want to be treated." This is my premise for placing comments on blogs that are of value. I would want someone to place valuable information on my blogs, so I try to do the same.
