Thanks! The people that have been doing this make the keyword into the image, so I figured thats why it wasnt work out so well. I tried the same when I started out, still learning right now as I go. Seems that right now I am getting abit more traffic since I did an ad with Dojo Hut, but I am still checking all other places too. See what evens out the best and stick with it. I have never tried the alt tags, maybe thats where I am lost at.

Do you know what I mean by the alt tags? I don't know how you are building your site, but in the image coding you can add alt="description of image" if you are doing the coding yourself.
I'm not terribly great at coding. To be honest I don't even use an html editor or upload my own. I'm still using the site building blockbuilder  SBI offers, but I do add some basic html into my text blocks to make the site more visually appealing and to save me some time.
Depending on what you are using, I'm sure you can figure out the alt tags or ask someone in a forum regarding your specific situation.

| I figure I will be asking many questions, its been many moons since I have done any website work myself. I am thinking just hire them out instead and give them a list of what I want, might save me a headache in the end.

If you'd rather spend the money than the time, that is definitely a good way to go. Just be sure you pay someone who truly knows what they are doing.
I know that SBI offers a service for those who want someone to 'Do it for me.' I can recommend them, since I know they know how to build pages and sites that actually bring in targeted traffic.

| I have an affiliate site. I can change the text on the one landing page, but that's about it. I can't add pages, but can change that text, periodically. How much is too much with that one? One thing i can do with the site is change the meta tags. I've been tweaking those, and i am doing fairly well with some of the less competitive keywords. The other ideas you mentioned i can use, for sure. Tthe site comes with a report that links back to my business. Any suggestions on what to do with my landing page text?

These are great steps. There is a lot to learn about each of these if you are going to do them right and make the effective for you. Before you jump into one of these steps take some time and do your research to make sure you are doing it right. But also don't take so much time researching that you never get around to actually doing the work. Find a good balance...

This is great info. But don't stop at EzineArticles.com. There are many other really good article sites. Squidoo is great because you can put your links into your articles and there is not a review time.

| Thanks for the tip. I use some seo tools to come up with keywords that will get a fair number of hits, but not so competitive that there is not chance i will ever get any rank for them. I am also getting a ton of back links from blogs, forums, etc. I pay attention to what happens when i "tweak" a meta tag or keyword, or when i change my text. I like your coment on research, i call it analysis paralysis.

These marketing funnels are automated and follow up with each prospect for as
long as you have programmed it to do till the sale is closed. You dont have to
meet anyone or call anyone to get people to join your business.
But the most important factor that gets these marketing funnels effective is
the way you communicate with each prospect. You have to give away high quality
content to get to the heart of each subscriber. You have to sell yourself first by giving away so much good information that will make them feel indebted to
you.
The feeling of indebtedness plus satisfaction with information gives each

your winning team. Master these concept, apply it and success in network

E-zines are electronic magazine with thousands of people who have deliberately
signed up to receive different offers in their niche market.
If you are in a network marketing business, the type of e-zine you should
subscribe to should be focused on home businesses and network marketing.
If you are a subscriber of these E-zines, you should be receiving regular
updates, tips, and promotions of different type of home business opportunities
delivered to you weekly or monthly.
These make e-zines a perfect tool for marketing your home business opportunity.
Therefore, network marketing businesses should be promoted using e-zines because it is a highly targeted way of getting the attention of your exact or target
audience.
However, you need to follow some precautions if you want to get the best from
your e-zine marketing. To use e-zines, you need to place an advert that will be delivered with the weekly newsletters that goes out to the subscribers.
Now, you have to understand that some e-zines have as much as 100,000 or as
small as 1,000 subscribers and that only a percentage of these will open their
e-mail for the newsletter.
A good e-zine has a 10% open rate same day and 5% before the next e-zine. So if you are advertising with 100,000 subscriber expect about 15,000 eye balls for
your advert.
You should also use squeeze page as the landing page where every e-zine
subscribe who clicks on your link will be directed to. This page should be able to get the contact information of any interested subscribe to opt-in to your
offer.
When you are promoting, you need to select the type of advert that will give you the highest return for your money.
Here are some of the type of e-zine advert you can choose from.
A) Top sponsor ad: This appears at the top of the E-zine. It is the very first
message subscribers see before reading the newsletter of the week.
There's also Middle and Bottom sponsor advert which appear at the middle and
bottom of the advert respectively.
The top sponsor ad commands more than the middle advert and the bottom sponsor advert commands the least ad fee.
B) Solo advert: This type is sent out to the whole subscribers alone. There is
no other advert that comes with it. It also comes on a different schedule with
the newsletter. This type of ad is very expensive depending on the size and
effective response rate of the list.
For network marketers, it is best to utilize the top sponsor advert and not
advertise your company directly as this will get you nowhere. Your aim should be to build relationships first before you introduce your business opportunity
when the hearts of your prospects have been trained to appreciate your message
and become very receptive to you.
In other words, it is best to give something away for free when you advertise
in e-zines using top sponsor advert. Your only weapon here is to craft a
compelling and hypnotic advert message that will psychologically force your
prospects to give you their e-mail address in exchange for your free gift.
Once you have succeeded doing this, the power to get this person to loyally
listen to you is now in your hands. You have to make yourself as a trustworthy
source of information by living up to it.
You achieve this by delivering 80% high quality content and 20% pitching them
your opportunity. That way, you will build value in the minds of your prospects.
So if you are going the e-zine advertising route, choose your e-zines wisely
and continue advertising till you attract as many people as possible who will also be willing to join your home business when you make it available.

Success in any endeavour requires hard work, persistence and a positive mental

there is so much hype floating around on pyramid schemes and get rich quick
programs.
Hypes has led a lot of people to believe claims that are made by greedy
networkers that prospects do not need to work for too long and hard to make it
in network marketing. The effect of deceiving people to join a network marketing
business promising instant results with less work results in the build up of a lazy
but large downline that are not duplicatable.
If you want real success in your business, you have to learn how to get people to

Each of the methods described above need a detailed understanding of how to
apply it in your marketing. Once you have a perfect understanding of how to apply each method, the next thing you do is.
1, - Create an opt in page

4, - Follow up with all of them with high quality information.
5, - Build relationship and present your opportunity

Hi,
I know how to drive traffic to my squeeze page through traditional marketing methods, but haven't had much luck with my home based business site.
I've tried using Traffic Exchanges to promote my squeeze page, but have only had limited success. Is there anyone that has a method or plan for using TE for getting signups.
Are squeeze pages the way to go or should the opportunity be presented before having the person sign up?

I've had very good responses using Traffic Exchanges. Over 1/2 of the people that opt-in on my list are directly from Traffic Exchanges (I know this because I have tracking set up....). Anyway, the thing to remember with Traffic Exchanges is that the people using them are already involved in a business already (for the most part) or they wouldn't be there anyway. They have a website that they want to promote..... just like you do. Traffic Exchanges are good if you have a product / service that other people just like you are looking for. An existing affiliate marketer could be using the Traffic Exchange and looking for a new affiliate product to promote. Or, maybe they are looking for Safelist secrets or perhaps they are looking for other Traffic Exchanges to join. I've got a page on my site (see my signature) that goes over Traffic Exchanges and gives you a free resource on which ones are ranked the best each week.

I just wanted to tell you how excited I am about the Social Networking Directory! It has to be the biggest Web 2.0 resource out there. I mean I'm sitting here going through it and can't believe how many social sites there are!

When it comes to online social networking, websites are commonly used. These websites are known as social sites. Social networking websites function like an online community of internet users.
Depending on the website in question, many of these online community members share a common interest such as hobbies, religion, or politics. Once you are granted access to a social networking website you can begin to socialize. This socialization may include reading the profile pages of other members and possibly even contacting them.
So how do you use social sites to promote and grow a business online? Well that's a great question and one worth investigating.
You see, the old way of networking and meeting people at a function was effective but the difference with social networking is it's permanent.

I get the feeling you have been given the same information most are given when starting this business, make lists, buy lists etc etc, those lists are sold time and time again that is an unfortunate fact, the only people making money on most of those are the people selling.
Here are the key priciples of Internet marketing:
You must brand yourself
this is how people buy from you, this means getting your self out there
You must be consistent
do things daily and keep doing them, there are tons of FREE ways to generate targeted traffic to you.
You must get the right advice
Training and advice are something that is essential here, get advice by the people who are doing it IE marketing effectively.
You must build your own list
This is crucial in all your marketing, building your own list, then you know they are 100% qualified for your service or product.
