It's a good list. I haven't really implemented most of those free methods besides article marketing. However i don't really believe you can build your entire business free. It takes a combination of free and paid methods.

Hi,

I especially like the idea of writing ebooks with articles that walk the reader right into my websites. Then, give the ebooks away free with give away rights.  I'll share with ya first hand that I have written several ebooks and listed them on download.com (upload.com) which is free to do and this has brought targeted traffic to my sites and alot of traffic at that. Also, creating software that has links to my site in it. I guess the next step is going to be creating a pad file. I have been reading that you can submit your pad file to many free download sites all at once.

if you have limited funds, you just have to be very hardworking inthe beginning..

Yea, it is alot of work but once you get natural targeted traffic the sales keep coming in without spending a dime. Sometimes I purchase text link advertising spots in affiliate forums. I have purchased custom branded software that have links in the software back to my site. For the cost of the software, I have gotten alot more sales for the price I would have paid to advertise on adwords. I am looking at getting more source code so I can have it branded. Just trying to find something that people are going to want.

All too often we have these watered down, flaky same ol same ol offers that offer no value.

What to offer depends on who your looking for. Ask yourself what do you think might be their biggest problem or concern and how can you offer a solution right now?

Then based around that create a huge package,newletter,ebook,whatever around the solution. Give them something of great value(information) that they can use right away. This is called "hooking" them. Once you have your hooks in them its hard for them to break away beacuse they KNOW BY EXPERIENCE your a great resource.

Don't believe me? Go home today and look at all the junk mail your receive. Look at the offers they give. If you were someone in the market for a great deal on let's say a security door and you see a offer for 30-50% off , would that grab your attention?

to take orders. Learning to do it yourself is possible and
takes time. Paying someone to do it saves time and has a
definite cost attached.

Part of this process involves setting up a budget for
operating and advertising. There are many ways to
advertise for little or no out of pocket cost. One
of the best I have found has been article submissions.
Writing articles about something you love to do can
be fun as well as get the word out about your business.
Next you will want to carve out your working schedule.
When will you work your business? How many hours per
week, per day etc will you work. This is not set in
stone and can be adjusted as you move forward.

Setting your goals is very important as it gives you
the steps you need to follow day by day month by month
to progress towards success. Goals are a must
for any project be it business or personal.

One thing that has helped me is I focus on one aspect
of the marketing process at a time to completion before
starting another. So for example I want to get an
article written and submitted. I will do this once per
week. I spend about six hours on this and I do not move
to another technique until finished. I usually complete
this in one days work.

Next I will work on my Adwords or Adsense campaigns.
My point is that you can get so mixed up and confused
moreover when this happens you get discouraged. So it is
vital to keep things organized. Try to learn then setup
a different aspect of your marketing after mastering a
previous step. Do one at a time.

  • Social Mediums
Have you heard of: Facebook, Twitter, Myspace? When utilized correctly, all of these social networking sites can be an extremely effective gateway to increase Internet traffic to your website.

First and foremost, if you are not on Twitter, sign up and then use this TweetGetter. The Tweet Getter program is a 100% hands-off method of acquiring thousands of followers. It's completely automated and completely fantastic. It can take a couple months to truly develop, but that's not bad considering it takes 15 seconds to set up and then requires nothing from you ever again. Statistically, 2% of Twitter followers read emails they receive. This means that once you have thousands of followers, you can instantly expose hundreds or even thousands of people to your product, service or landing/squeeze page. That's amazing! Do you realize how powerful this is?

Facebook and Myspace are a bit more hands-on. However, without spending much time, you can set up events and groups for FREE. This strategy is a relatively new, and thus is an extremely potent method of attracting business. To keep this simple and clear, I am going to use a specific example.
One of the most incredible and FREE to participate companies I have found is called SFI. It's free to sign up, for life- and as you generate an easy to build downline you get paid. In fact, I generate over $10,000 per month from this company. It is easy to recruit people, for these very reasons. After I recruit people and they begin to upgrade their SFI memberships, I email them and ask them to check out my main website. Since I help my SFI affiliates by offering them information, advice, etc- they trust me. They visit my site and my conversion rate is through the roof! It's a win-win situation. I make sales and what I offer helps them attain wealth.
  • Affiliate Links
Another dynamite strategy. Over 40% of people who search the web use Google, so let's start there and you can use your imagination. I'll be specific so this is less confusing.

Google search your TYPE of business. "Home Business" "Online Dating" "Dry Cleaning" "Clothing" "Computers" "Electronics" etc. The results along the left side of the page are positioned, based off of their popularity. Visit all of those results on the first page. There should be 10 or so. Contact the webmasters, etc. Ask them if they would be willing to host your link or banner. In return you will host their link or banner. Sometimes they will want payment to host your link and sometimes they will not want to participate at all. This can easily be your #1 way to increase Internet traffic. Once you set it up, it completely runs itself.

If you host each other's links, however- you just gained a massive stream of traffic for free! For those that charge per click, it's sometimes incredibly cheap- like 1-10 cents per highly targeted click.
  • Free Website Traffic Companies
Most companies that provide free traffic are complete rubbish. However, Traffic Swarm isn't bad. It slowly generates traffic. If you put a link to your account on your site, it will actually produce a decent amount of traffic daily. I recommend it. It's totally free and quick to set up.


Cheap and Highly Effective Advertising
  • Buying Traffic
Most companies that sell traffic are a complete rip-off, pure and simple. Never pay for traffic, email campaigns, pop-unders, etc, without thoroughly investigating a company's ethics, statistics, strategies, leads sources, etc. Even if the "price is right" be very careful about getting sucked into shelling out your cash. So far, I have only found 1 company that can produce consistent quality with tangible results. Revisitors.com I always have a Revisitors campaign running, alongside other traffic campaign strategies listed within this article. They give a 20% discount for repeat customers, as well. This is a great method to instantly increase Internet traffic- and a lot of it.
  • Pay-Per-Click
I have MANY pay-per-click campaigns running simultaneously. The key is, I only pay 2-7 cents per click, and ONLY for highly targeted traffic.

Facebook- Facebook is actually a great source for advertising a home businesses, as well as offline local businesses. However, they are a bit tricky with their automated ad requirements. Read their ad guidlines before you post. If you have a home business you may need to be creative with your working, etc, to bypass their automated rejection system. If you can sell your product or service globally, you can easily get 2-3 cents per click with some trial and error. My top recommendation is write a bolg which links back to your main site, and advertise your blog- which bypasses the rejection system.

Google Adwords- This is where I generate a solid chunk of my most valuable traffic. Set up several ads that will typically only attract clicks from people who are extremely targeted. The goal is not to get a super high CTR (click through rate). The goal is to get a decent CTR (.3%-1.0%) with clicking traffic being serious about what you sell. In order to get 5-10 cent clicks, you'll need to spend some time using the Google Adwords keyword tool. Make a LARGE list of specific keywords and set your click-cost limit at 8-10 cents per click. You should average somewhere between 5-10 cents per click. With additional tweaking and additional keywords, you can get your click cost to 5-6 cents.
  • Business Cards
A tried and tested method to increase Internet traffic is using business cards. Have free or cheap online cards printed with your website. Keep these cards very simple and plain. No image, name, phone number, address. Just the website and at very most 3-6 words that sum up what you offer. But keep it mysterious! Then leave cards where you go- where people will find them. No need to hand them out. No need to give them to friends. Leave them in the subway, taxi, dentist's office, restaurant, whatever! Leave them right on a seat where someone has to pick it up. Most people are curious about a card if it's laying around. This is where mysterious and simple = traffic.



I have spent thousands of dollars and many frustrating years learning that these strategies are effective. However, there is one piece to the puzzle. How do you know which method is most effective for you as you increase Internet traffic? How do you tweak and improve your advertising over time? This is essential, for long-term growth and big-time profits.
The answer is: use an advertising manager. There are many out there. I personally use AdMinder. You can pay to use it through that link.

"I would like to start off by saying if you are not using the internet to market your Network Marketing company than you are potentially wasting quite a bit of time and money. You see if you want to succeed in Network Marketing today you need to have an offline and online presence.
Don't get me wrong, interacting with your warm market is still a great way of growing your business but you need to utilize the internet and have an online presence so you can market yourself to millions and millions of people all day long. In this article I am going to show you how to use the internet to effectively and efficiently marketing your MLM business for maximum profits and help you finally achieve network marketing success faster than you ever thought possible.
Marketing you Networking business online is not as hard as you may think it is. It can actually be more efficient, easier ,more affordable, faster, cheaper, time-effective, and even an automatic way to start making money in your MLM business. Once you start applying these techniques you will see what I'm talking about.
In this particular article we are going to assume you already know who you are going to market to (ie. Baby boomers, people looking for extra income, network marketing seekers, ect.).
1. Build a list with a Lead Capture Page: Your first goal would be to build yourself a lead capture page to get your prospects email address. I stick with just an email because people are more reluctant to give up their name as opposed to just an email. Then you want to offer them something of value, for example give them a report or free video. You want to be unique and stand out. Make sure this is legitimate and useful information, not crap.
2. Connect and build relationships with your prospects: Now that you have your leads you want to keep them right? You must build and develop a relationship with them by keeping in touch with them and giving them useful information at the same time. You want to email them at least 1-3 times a week, not everyday. You don't want to annoy them but just "check in" on them every once in a while, just like a friend. If you don't have an autoresponder you need to get one. It will help you save a lot of time when you build a bigger list. I recommend Aweber or Getresponse, compare the two and see what is best for you.
3. Start driving traffic to your website: This is the part that will take a majority of your time. There are several ways to market your business or website online, some include Ezine or Article marketing, forums, blogs, blog directories, ect. (you can check out some of my other articles for more information on these topics). The key here is to provide valuable content for others to access for free. When they see you as someone of importance they will begin to pay attention to you.
4. Start making some money: Now you have the traffic you want to convert that into some income. I would suggest not shoving your company down their throat. A better idea would be to let them purchase some lower end products, see the value in them, then you can introduce them to your business. You can use clickbank, commission junction, or other affiliate programs to find these products to market on your site.
5. Start building your team: Once you have turned your traffic into trusted "friends" you can begin sharing your MLM business to interested people. This is when you begin to build your business and this can happen very quickly for you. This can be done through your autoresponder. Just send an email sharing your company with them and watch them respond.
6. Duplication is the key: Now that you have gone through the process mentioned above it is time to start duplicating your work. You want to start teaching your team members the same thing you know and have done. You can create a product and sell it to them or give it away for free, it's up to you.
You have learned the process of achieving success with your MLM business online. Starting with a lead capture page you drive traffic to that page. Then you begin to build a relationship with them and add value. Then you can begin to share you business and build a team. And last but not least, duplicate the process for maximum results. I hope this will help you achieve that success with your business that your are looking for."

I am wondering, to reach those who are looking for the type of products I offer, should I search for forums or blogs that include people talking specifically about what products or opportunities they are looking for? Or is that a waste of time looking for such an efficient situation?
