Hey everyone! I just signed up for MonaVie three weeks ago. I am brand new to the network marketing business. I own my own alarm company and have over 100 employees working for me so you can imagine that I get a lot of calls from friends and family trying to get me involved in their new MLM business. I have always said no until I tried a bottle of this wonderful juice. I noticed right away more engergy. I am only 32 yrs old so I don't have many health issues except some arthritis aches in my knees. After drinking MonaVie for two weeks the joint pain was gone! I was sold at that point and started spreading the word to friends and family. I have signed up nine people so far. I talked to the Black Diamond in my upline and asked him what the key to success was and he told me to sponsor 40 people. 20 people on your right and 20 people on my left. I have a goal to hit that number before the end of the year. Does anyone have some advice for a rookie like me?

I came up with a tag line for my MonaVie business so how does this sound....

Stay healthy, live financially free, and drink MonaVie!

Hi Acai,

I am curious, when the Black Diamond said the key to success was to sponsor 40 people. 20 people on your right and 20 people on my left.

What is so sufficient about that number and what will happen to your business when you reach it?

Warmly,
~ David :)

Hi Mike,

If it took 40 people so that I could drink the juice for free, Monavie would have to have the worst compensation plan on the market.

technocally you need 10 cases ordered in your lesser leg to dronk for free, but that doesnt even include if you got a bulk order or a first order or so forth in there either i was just trying to give example of why they suggest 20 and 20

20 and 20 is the stabalizing foundationg to having 500 ppl under you in the future with them doing same thing you doing which in fold is a "big business" . dont quote me on that but i belive that is why

I believe that the reason why Dallin Larsen the Owner of the company says that 40 people would bring success is because if someone sticks around long enough to recruit 40 then by that time they would have figured out the business and in essence you would be successful..

Having said that, I think there is too much networking going on in Network Marketing and not enough Marketing and I think it's because even uplines don't know what marketing really is..

If one would focus on learning how to market and not just networking at the events and wasting time over edifying their uplines one would find success a lot sooner..

We as an industry need to stop being cheerleaders for the big dogs and begin to build our business in a business manner..

Peace..

Keep up your motivation.  A huge part is about mindset. I would learn all you can about building a network marketing business online.  No one has a little red flag hanging over their head saying "I'm interested in your product or business come talk to me."  The result is your upline tells you to talk to as many people as you can because eventually you will find someone who is looking.  That's not really targeted marketing.
However, everyday millions of people (even my relatives who aren't that good with computers) log online to find solutions to their problems.  If you can place your offer in front of them you are now targeting highly qualified prospects.  Now I know many companies (maybe MonaVie as well) have strict guidelines about what you can do online.  I'm not talking about creating a MonaVie ad, I mean creating a lead capture page that maybe offers the person a free health and wellness e-book (for those looking for the product aspect).  When these people give you their contact information you can have an autoresponder send pre-written emails that educates them on health and nutrition, they should also have some substance about who you are.  After a few of these emails your prospect has come to know you and will trust you much more than just pitching you business right off the bat.
There's so much more but it's just to get you thinking.  This is how my team has been using the internet for our company.
I wish you all the best.  Feel free to contact me with any questions.
Take care and good luck to you,
Matt
