I would never respond to those "mysterious" websites, either. After all, a website is where you tell everything there is to know about your business so that your prospects can make an informed decision. I always wonder what those people are hiding. I guess that some of those companies have a bad reputation, so they don't want people to know upfront who they are. I could never promote an opportunity that way. It seems really sneaky to me.

When I was with Herbalife, I purchased magnetic signs and one sign for my rear window.
The signs do work and I got a lot of people who would inquire about my business and ask for my business cards. The key thing is when someone asks for your information, be sure to get their name, phone number, and possibly their email address. The reason is that although they promise to call you, most times they will not. Therefore, it is up to you to call them or email them.
I purchased the cars signs from the Sign store near my home. For two magnetic signs, it cost me about $40.00. I purchased the rear window sign online, so the price was about $20.00 or so.
Be sure to have a catchy add to place on your signs. If you are unable to, your affiliate company or upline may be able to help. If you don't have one, you can do some research online and see what kinds of ads do work. This is what I did recently when I was placing some ads in online newspapers.
Pesistancy and consistency is key here. Sometiimes the best marketing ideas can cost little to nothing. It is what you do afterwards, that determines your success or failure in your marketing.

Good info in this thread. My mentor was speaking on this very subject a few weeks ago. I have not purchased a sign, but after his conversation and the site link from a couple of threads up, I probably will invest in a pair.

I agree that magnetic signs, lettering and bumper stickers do work, and yes, always best to get their information.

Thank you Jennifer for agreeing. It is easy advertisment. I was surprised at the number of the people that wanted more information about my business. And again, I can't emphasize more how important it is to get the perspective customer's name and home number and if possible, their email address. This is because, most times, many people will not call you for whatever reason. So, just be sure to follow up with the customers. Ask them when they are available and make an appointment. Let them know when you are going to call them.

I have seen just an URL stuck to the side of a vehicle without any other information.
Has anyone used this method of advertising?
How effective was it?
I saw a website onetime that specialized in these.

I think it would be better if you include a phone number along with the website. I was told that you make more profit if you can connect one on one with others. Having a busienss is essentially about building relationships with others. Just giving a website makes it difficult to connect with people. You need a way to make yourself available in case someone wants to connect with you and find out more about your products or service.

I agree with the phone number suggestion. Always remember that people only have about 2-10 seconds to see something on a bumper sticker- some will call, some will not. Depends on the personalilty of the person.

I put some logos of my compnay on my truck, only for branding purposes though. There are alot of looks, so it's working in that sense.
